SO I spent ALL this week putting the I-130 and G-325A package together. My wife, the US citizen sponsoring me (after 24 years of marriage!), just got back from mailing it to TEXAS at the local post office. In the meantime I'm starting on the I-485, etc and NOW I find that maybe it should ALL go together to CHICAGO! Is this right? I'm in Georgia and the USCIS website says send the I-130 to Texas. There's nobody live on the 800 number. None of the prompts are any use to me. There are no phone numbers for the Chicago or Texas offices. Can they forward it from TX to Chicago? Can I file the 485 and reference the 130 without it being included? Do I have to wait for approval of the 130? or receipt? Or do I just start over? AARGGH!!!

LOL..learning VJ can be a journey in it's self. Don't worry someone will give an answer. Some people just take it soooo personal ....on which thread you post something. Silly if you ask me.

Thanks for the moral support. I guess a major part of my frustration is that I procrastinated for 24 years and then sent the package to the WRONG PLACE. D'OH.

not sure I understand the OPs situation...

ask here if it is about a visa (k-3)

ask here for registering a resident alien (Green Card)

I have not heard of the 2 needing to be filed together but I do not know many circumstances.... only my own =)
