Hi VJ members,

I’m from Pakistan and my wife is US citizen.

I am waiting for NVC to schedule my  interview at US embassy ISL pakistan.

We want to ask if someone had this experience.

we have submitted all civil and financial documents on CEAC website.
the financial Doc or tax return we submitted was for 2020 and do we need to update tax return of 2021 on the CEAC website or taking those documents in my interview at ISL embassy in hard printed form. And if we need to upload new documents to CEAC will it effect our DQ date?

because we already been DQ aprox 10 months ago. But still no interview update by NVC.

we just don’t want to make any mistake at this  stage. Because it’s been already three years since we married and waiting to be together.
please if someone has the information about it. Let me know by your reply on this topic.

Thank you.

If you are have already been DQ'd, I think it would be better to hold off and not upload the latest tax returns. Once the interview times comes around, you can always take the all the returns with you (the ones you uploaded as well as the latest ones issued after you were DQ'd). I think that is almost always the situation where the tax returns uploaded may not be the latest ones at the time of the interview, but they were the latest at the time of filling out the NVC application.

You should upload the updated financial docs, salary slips, w2 and affidavit on CEAC at least 2 weeks before the Interview. You will not be able to change the already DQ'ed documents. So you can upload all the updated docs in additional docs tab under correct category.

You will need to take all originals with you to the interview as well.
