Now no one answering embassy phone, i sent email to NVC and US embassy Islamabad but no response from both side either. What should I do and how to get hold of embassy. Do anyone have email address (not the general email). I want to send email directly to cosular section or something like this.

because of the HOLIDAYS .. the Embassy has been closed alot. so what I would do is just WAIT. because, your K-3 is already expedited. you have to give them time to match hard copies and electronic copies this can take up to one full month. the embassy will contact you soon.

what the embassy is doing also is fixing your interview date. so give them some time..

next week they should be back to normal routines..

How long does the embassy takes to contact the applicant for further process once THEY RECIEVE THE FILE FROM THE NVC FOR A NORMAL IR/1 VISA PETITION. How long does it normally takes to transfer the file from NVC to Islamabad embassy.

Blessings from Almighty ALLAH for all of us.

Salam all,

My wife's K3 interview is coming up at ISL. She had been denied F1 visa twice before marriage on "insufficient ties to home country" grounds. We married an year after that and I applied for her K3 an year after marriage as I was waiting on naturalization.

I have heard that consulars get suspicious about the validity of marriage in similar cases. Even though we have probably a sufficient lot of supporting evidence (travel + phone + money transfer records, pics), we are still concerned about the interview. She is specially very nervous given her previous experiences.

My questions to all the learned folks over here are:

1. Does ISL embassy allow USC's presence at the interview?

2. More importantly, does that help in any way?

thanks in advance for advices and sharing experiences!

The USC can go to attend the interview anytime with his/her fiance. Yes it helps alot, the case and the bona fide relationship looks much stronger. You should go and attend the interview with your fiance if you can.

Good Luck

Blessings from Almighty ALLAH for all of us.

Finally today my wife talked to someone at US embassy, Islamabad and they have informed her that she will get interview letter with all requirement documents within week. She asked them when will be interview schedule. They have given her vague answer that usually within 10 days. Anyhow regardless of this I have few questions if you can help me.

1) What exactly (wording) I have to ask my employer to put it on letterhead for income verification. If u have sample (this will be great help). Should I get it now or wait till she get actual interview date?

2) Same as above but for Bank Letter (what should I asked them). Should I get it now or wait till she get actual interview letter?

3) I-134 I think required for K3 Right? How long this will be valid?

4) Its ok if she apply for police letter now rather then wait for interview letter from Embassy?

What other documents if any she must required from my side. I can do anything to help her to get her k3 visa. I want her to have a smooth journey.

Your help is always appreciated.

Thanks

What do you guys think plus purchasing a ticket for her what if i purchase the ticket and the process gets a little delayed, any feed back would be great.
