Thanks to all on VJ and in particular the UK thread, for all the advice and support that is handed out and also for your best wishes for today.

Potential applicants should be advised to browse these pages by the immigration paperwork as I think without this site there would be a whole lot more RFE demands and refusals etc.

I still can't believe it has actually been granted, I have to keep pinching myself to take it in :)

07/20/2007 Visa Interview in London! Approved!!

10/04/2007 Small private wedding!

04/19/2008 Big fancy shmancy wedding!

AOS Timeline:

10/18/2007 Sent entire AOS, EAD, AP package to Chicago

10/19/2007 Package received in Chicago- signed for by V Bustamante

10/25/2007 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, and AP.

10/26/2007 Check cashed.

11/28/2007 Biometrics appointment in Denver.

12/17/2007 EAD card production ordered!

12/27/2007 EAD card arrives.

12/31/2007 AP approved.

01/07/2008 AP received.

02/01/2008 AOS interview in Denver. APPROVED!

2007-12-18...mailed another copy of RFE, delivery confirmation.. just in case they did'nt get first one

2007-12-29...email stating transfer to CSC woohoo

2008-01-02...AOS touched

2008-01-09...AOS touched..stating transfer and pending at CSC.

2008-01-10...AOS touched

2008-01-11...AOS touched

2008-01-11...EAD touched..stating card production ordered... woohoo.

2008-01-11...AP touched

2008-01-16...AP approved

2008-01-18...EAD touch... stating card production ordered..AGAIN

Many thanks, just waiting for the damned visa to be delivered now. Needs to be before the weekend as I have to go to Prague on Monday...................

Hopefully it will be there soon. We'll be in a bit of a crunch for delivery as well. Dan's interview is 31st and the wedding is planned for Aug 11. There is a 72 hr wait period for a marriage license in Texas... More to stress about, but hey - should be used to it by now!
