Greetings, everyone!

Back story: I had applied for a K-1 for a different girl than I'm engaged to now back in 2015. We were approved at that time but the relationship didn't last and we never moved forward with bringing her to the U.S. As of this year, I sent off a request to close the file which would free up both of us to apply again. We're still waiting to hear back from USCIS on the old case closure.

Present Day: I traveled to meet my current fiancée last month and I'm filling out the I-129F application. For box 47, would I put approved or revoked based on the outcome of the original petition?

Note: to be safe, I'll hold off on submitting the current packet until we hear back from USCIS regarding the original case closure unless everyone here thinks it'll be okay to proceed due to the fact it's over 5 years old and still no record of entry into the U.S.

If you wait for your withdrawl letter then I would put "Approved/Petition Withdrew"

If you don't want to wait then put "Approved"

I don't see any reason to wait for a letter from either USCIS or the Embassy or Consulate where the first approval was.

What country was the first K1 from?

Both K1's are from the Philippines. Thank you for mentioning the Embassy. The case had been forwarded to Manila. I'll have to send the Petition Withdrawal letter again just to be sure. This time, I'll send it to the Embassy in Manila.

Correct, they are the ones who will send you a withdrawl letter, it come from Manila.

Embassy in Manila when it comes to interview time, I highly doubt they will ask your fiance about a previous petition, seems like they don't care about previous petions filed.

Good Luck
