Hello,

My mother is applying for a non immigrant Visa B1/B2 and has the VAC and Embassy appointment date settled. Her daugther also have it settled (separately) they did not know they could have go together, to the interview, as a consequence neither of them added each other to their visa appointment dates (a committed error during application). As they want to take the interview together, is there a way to placed the daughter interview day along with her mother interview day (I mean book their appointments together in one of their already settled appointment dates? ) knowing that their appointment dates are already separately established?

Please give me an answer based in real facts, not assumptions as this is a serious problem!

Only if there is an open appointment available on one of their dates.  Non-immigrant visa appointments do not allow derivatives to just go to the interview -- each individual must have their own appointment.  If there open appointments on one of their dates, the existing appointment for the other person will need to be cancelled and the new appointment scheduled.  The other option wouId be to cancel both to schedule on a day when tbere are enough appointments open for both if them.

While you can try to re-schedule their appointment(s) so they can go on the same day, assuming the daughter is an adult (since she was independently making her own appointment), they might not actually be interviewed "together", i.e., by the same officer at the same time.  It is more likely that they will be called up separately for individual interviews.  With that in mind, given the large backlogs and wait times for non-immigrant visa appointments, they may want to consider just keeping their curent appointments.
