Okay so I have a background in sales. Specifically commission sales and I can pretty much sell anything...

I am weighing my options of moving to Peru to join my girlfriend or moving her and her kids to the USA.....

I have a bachelors degree, seven years in commission sales, I'm fluent in English and I am currently learning Spanish.

I would like to make around $90-100,000 a year in Peru.... am I being realistic? I know this is easy to do in the United States.

If so, Where do you recommend that I look?

Best way to go about this is having an address in the US and working remotely for a company. It's going to be really hard to find a job that pays 90-100k almost anyplace in South America outside of some cities in Brazil if you are a very good Software Engineer.

Best of luck. During the pandemic I sold my apartment and used my parents address for tax purposes and worked from Colombia. You will need to look into the local laws and restrictions as it's not exactly legal in some places to be on a tourist visa and working for another company although it's common practice. Also be careful about becoming a tax resident.
