I remember Tim posting about his London interview experience and what you needed to bring.... Do you happen to know that link to the post? Or point me in the right direction? This way I can refer Pete to that. lol

He's wanting to take 10 cans of beer and a few packets of fags, lmao j/k

Pete also is getting that nervous feeling as everything approaches...and said...if anyone is in the Preston area...let him know... AND I QUOTE: "We'll all go out for a right good piss up before flying to America" :jest:

lol

But it's also in the Embassy reviews section. That's a good place to read about lots of people's experiences. Link is at the top of the page. Filter for London Embassy.

Or even better a symbol that represents 'angry fiancee' - perhaps something like this:

anger.jpg

the prospect of getting a telling off from my fiancee will probably be enough to remind me not to open my brown envelope when i get it.

We revert back to childhood Christmas memories of ripping open presents striving to identify what goodies lie inside.............. oh its just pices of paper?? OOOppps was that 'the' brown envelope I wasn't supposed to open..........Bu****r!!

Or something like that I think.

I am under the strictest of orders and under threat of spending our wedding night on the sofa if I so much as breathe on the brown envelope lol. ;)

Tim says that had the envelope actually been BROWN, perhaps he'd have recalled the warnings faster. It's true - the envelope is definitely more yellow than brown. So just a warning to anyone with color perception issues. Perhaps the best course of action is to wait to open anything until you call the fiance/fiancee. ;)

It's an orangey/yellow/browny/mustard colour. Rather ICK, imo. But it DOES have, stamped on the front, DO NOT OPEN in capital letters AND it is sealed AND that seal is also stamped.

Men, eh? :P

Well, we all know they never read instruction manuals.

I know you're relieved this is over, Daisy. Now on to the good stuff.

Well, we all know they never read instruction manuals.

Happened just the other day with Larry. He got to using some new household item. Couldn't work it. I said "read the destruction manual". He just gave me a look. Caught him not half an hour later reading from the bloody thing.

VJsheesh!
