Hello,

I would be filing my N400 application shortly online, its asking me for additional documentation for Child Support (I do have my child living with my ex-spouse outside the country and am divorced). I do have proof of child support, but do not have affidavit from the spouse (there are no court orders for child support int his case). I have checked with my ex-spouse and seems like she can provide an affidavit if I give her a format. So wanted to check if anyone has any format that they can share for "A notarized letter from the parent or guardian who cares for your child(ren)" ?

Also once I receive this document from my ex-spouse should it be uploaded while I submit N400 OR is it suggested to take it along for the interview. Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi! I applied for N400 and during my application  online I uploaded paperwork of financial support. I have 2 kids in Asia .Upload whatever you can to show that you are supporting your child. I didn't know of  an "affidavit" . If you get that affidavit you can upload that and also take that with you on your interview. All the best to you!
