How Long Can Green Card Holders Stay Outside the US?

Hi,

 

I have received a conditional permanent resident (Green Card) valid for two years starting from 04/28/21. which mean i have to file a petition within the 90-day period before conditional Green Card expires.

my question is;

How Long Can a Green Card Holders Stay Outside the US? 

is there any way to stay longer (more than 1 year) ?

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/B5en.pdf "A reentry permit establishes that you did not intend to abandon status, and it allows you to apply for admission to the United States after traveling abroad for up to 2 years without having to obtain a returning resident visa. Reentry permits are normally valid for 2 years from the date of issuance."
