Hello guys

We received information that the Embassy in brazil received our petition on August 3rd, but we have not yet received the packet with the information to schedule the interview. How long does it usually take to receive this packet?

thank you in advance for any information

Hi! Wondering similar and in the same situation! Any input would be appreciated...

Hello

I sent an email to the medical office (Dr Garrido, Rio de Janeiro) requesting an appointment, however, as they are overloaded, they have not yet scheduled my appointment, but the Embassy is aware and doing the interviews anyway. So on the last day 02 (September) I had mine. My fiance came to Brazil to do the interview with me, but they suggested that the fiancés not go in together, so there would be no crowding (COVID19). I presented everything that was asked for, and everything was approved. so now I'm just depending on the appointment scheduling. the exams must be done at least 4 days before.

Oh, and my interview they schedule. We receive the date by email for my fiancé August 25, for the interview September 2 😅😅😅🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️

Did you ever receive anything from the consulate before you scheduled your interview? The daunting warning that says not to schedule an interview before hearing from them is keeping us from signing up.

We received the NOA2, the message from the Brazil Embassy, that they receive our case, we filled out form DS-160 (beneficiary) and I-134 (petitionary) and paid the fees.
On the day of the interview a guy told me that he scheduled the interview himself, he didn't receive the date like me.

I followed the Consulate informations.

Ola pessoal

Vocês tiveram a entrevista antes do exame físico?

Exatamente. Queria marcar logo a entrevista.

Yes. I did the interview before the appointment.
now the doctor's office has scheduled a date for me. I will need to do the blood, urine and x-ray tests at least 4 days before the appointment so that they are ready on the day of the appointment. do it only after receiving the date and information from the office. they will forward everything to the consulate.

sorry for the late answer

Hi again!! Would you mind elaborating on how they schedule the Medical Appointment a bit more? We are so happy because we FINALLY got our interview set for November 1 but now I am concerned for our timeline when it comes to the medical appointment. How has the process been for you? Will you have to go back to the consulate AFTer the medical exam? And then when would they send the visa?

Sorry for the many questions I am just looking for any clarification. Thanks!!

You will call and/or email the doctors directly to schedule. Normally, this needs to be done before the interview but they are allowing it to be done afterwards because of difficulty scheduling. Doctors in BH and Brasilia generally seem to have availability before November 1 if you want that done first.

Ah, e minha entrevista eles agendam. Nós recebemos a data por e-mail para o meu noivo 25 de agosto para a entrevista 02 de setembro 😅 😅 😅 🏃🏻♀️ 🏃🏻♀️ 🏃🏻♀️ 🏃🏼♂️ 🏃🏼♂️ 🏃🏼♂️

Oi!!!

Mandei email e não me retornaram. Eles respondem rápido?

Não. Demora BASTANTE.
