My name is a difficult Arabian name for example it is Alkhdr. At my first job they called me by a short name like Al instead of Alkhdr and it was only used in the work and work related reports and never used after this job.I believe this is a short version of my name . So I don’t believe it is alias or nickname so I never listed it at any immigration forms before . Am I right ?

my understanding that nickname is a funny name or a name that is not related to your name  like ( tiny) or ( ghost ). However I am thinking to mention that during my citizenship interview. So any body had the same issue? What do you guys think?
