Still waiting on my interview letter. Based on what a few people have said in this thread, I think I should still schedule my medical just in case. However, I was just on the website and it seems that you need to have an appointment letter before scheduling. Maybe it'll still allow you to register without the letter but I don't want to get in trouble for not following instructions.

Hi folks,

We are just about to depart for our medical, and then have our appointment at the London Embassy in a few weeks time. We are a family of 5 and I am just wondering if anyone has any advice in terms of

1) where we would be able to store some of our belongings prior to the interview

2) if a stroller/pram/buggy is permitted inside the embassy (our youngest daughter is 18 months old) - this can fold up if need be)

3) if anyone has any feedback on EB interview questions etc

Many thanks, and good luck to you all on your journey

Perfectly normal, and nothing to worry about. The visa quota has either been met or is about to be, so they're only scheduling those DQ'ed well before your date - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/iv-wait-times.html

Which country were you born in?

Country of chargeability is Italy. I know that there is always to wait and we are at the end of FY but my DQ is October 2023

They won't usually schedule interviews if no visas are available though, and the link I gave you above says May 2023 are currently being scheduled for employment based. I'm sure once October rolls around it won't take long.

Good luck.
