Hi everyone,

I am currently gathering the documents to file for my AOS from H1B status. For the document I-864, my wife's (US citizen) income in 2020 is not enough to support me. However, my current income on H1b is more than enough to cover the required amount and it is a full time job (not contracting/short term work). We are also filing the 2020 taxes together as married which will be included in the package as well.
Looking at the forums about this, I have seen that a letter from the employer is usually used in such situations indicating that the income will continue. My employer is asking if there is a template or a list of requirements for that letter so they can write one for me. Did anyone else recently do this? Can someone post a template or list the requirements for such a letter?
Thank you.
