We're getting married tomorrow!!!!! We're trying to file AOS from K-1 status by the end of this week and I have a questions. My fiancee did not recieve any medical forms or papers from his physical. He never recieved them they went straight to the embassy. (1) Since we can not include a copy of the original physical exam, do we need to have the Civil Surgeon do a new one? (2) My fiancee left his chest x-ray at home. Does this mean we need to get a TB skin test? (3) He doesn't have any immunization records with him, so do we just need to do them again?

Thanks!

They SHOULD still have his medical/x-ray so, as long as they didn't lose it, he shouldn't need a new medical or TB test. As for the vaccination sheet... could he contact where it was done in his home country and have them send him a copy? Is there a way that a family member could obtain a vaccination from a local doctor and send it to you (if not in English you'd need it translated)? Worst case scenario you could have them draw his titers and they could tell from that what vaccinations he's gotten, I believe. I'm all out of ideas from there.

Congratulations on the marriage, by the way! :)

Hi, Angilla! Thanks for the info. We will just get the vaccines done again at the local health department. Good to know I don't have to worry about the full medical again.

I never heard there being any use for the CXR taken at the interview medical.

They will take a new one if the recently required TB skin test is postive.
