Just a quick question... I'm starting to fill out the I-129F and came across a question that's somewhat puzzled me.

10. My citizenship was acquired through (check one)

X Birth in the U.S. O Naturalization

Give number of certificate, date and place it was issued.

O Parents

Have you obtained a certificate of citizenship in your name?

O Yes O No

If "Yes," give certificate number, date and place it was issued.

Now, as a natural born US citizen, is the first part the only bit (Birth in the U.S.) that pertains to me? Do I have to obtain a certificate of citizenship? And, do I have to check the parents box? O_o

Thanks in advance!

Naturalization is for those who were born outside of the United States and applied to become a US Citizen. That is citizenship through naturalization. In your case, you were born in the UNited States so you do not need a certificate of naturalization. Just use your birth certificate or a copy of all of the pages of your passport as proof that you are indeed a US citizen.
