NOA receipt times on EAD renewal

Does anybody have any up to date info on how long it's taking to get the NOA back from an EAD renewal application?

@aquatic_brewer Expect 10 - 15 business days after USPS delivers. Before June 2020, it used to be 2 - 5 business days but due to budget cuts on contractor vendors, this has impacted the lockbox receiving & pre-processing timelines greatly. This affects all paper applications, new or renewal across all types of filings. Your priority date will still reflect the date of actual USPS delivery (not that priority date matters much for EAD applications unlike other types of petitions)

Thank you.  Does the NOA then serve as an automatic extension of the existing EAD?

For those going through the same process here were my timelines:

 

Sent renewal forms (AP & EAD) - 01 Nov

 

Forms noted as received by USCIS - 04 Nov

 

Received NOA (employer accepted this as right to continue working in US) - 18 Nov

 

Received notification of approval - Dec 29th

 

Received combo card - Jan 8th (same day old card expired).
