Today I have received an email stating that they have ordered the production of my ead card.

Does it mean my background check is complete?

This thursday June 28 I have the AOS interview and it would be great to know the background is complete!

An EAD can be approved even if the background check is still in process. Hopefully, in your case, the name check will be done by the time your interview date comes around.

good luck!

"EAD production is not indicative of FBI namechecks complete"-Ditto.

Others were told on the interview day if their FBI checks are still pending, some of the approved got the approval stamp in their passports and the adjudicating officer takes away the I-94..I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, hope for the best! Good luck
