EAD renewal - No NOA?

Hi guys, 

I'm wondering if anyone is in my situation, or similar.

 

Filed for EAD renewal on 1st Sept - whilst waiting for i-485 to be approved. (I've been waiting for interview since Dec 2019.)

My city (NYC) is now stating the wait for approval is up to 30+ months (ridiculous)

 

I have received no notification or acknowledgement from USCIS that they received my package - even though I can see it was received a month ago. I know covid is the excuse and delays inevitable but does it really stop them from opening the mail?

 

Apologies for the vent I'm just frustrated! Anyone else in the same slow-moving boat as me?

I'm also in NYC, filed Sep 19. My interview is next month. I've seen other people from Sept 19 getting interview as well, so you're not that far from your interview.

 

Did you send your renewal to the correct address? Did you send the current form? Did you send NOA 1 form AOS? My NOA for my renewal arrived after 1 week. So there's a chance your package was rejected and it's on the way back.

Hey, good to hear from another NY’er! Thanks for the reply. Yes I did include the original NOA and double checked the location, Chicago. To be fair when I originally filed it took about a month to get the NOA. 
 

Congrats on getting your interview... hopefully mine isn’t too far away!
