We filed our I-485 package along with I-131 and I-765 for my wife and step-son and received receipt notice starting with MSC (National Benefits Center filing) for every form except son's I-765. His form was returned due to one missing checkbox. I then resubmitted his I-765 and this time received a receipt notice starting with IOE (e-filing).

Today I found a letter in my mailbox with an access code for his I-765. I added the form to USCIS online account, and now I can track actions, details, and documents related to this form in the same way I do for my I-130 petition, which I filed online.
I wish I could track all other forms too. I know there is an option to add a paper-filed case with MSC code to the online account, but there is no practical use of it - it just says "the application was received" while the online case status check provides even more details.

Has anyone experienced receiving e-filing receipt notes and/or online access code after mailing applications? Is there a way to request one for other forms?

Hey

If one section doesn't apply to you, you can just put N/A on the first line and they will know the rest doesn't apply to you. No need to fill up everything with N/A.

For example, "Employment history" you can just put N/A to the 1st line Employment if you never worked in the U.S and leave all the rest blank- even the 2nd one- (They asked for the most recent job so if u never worked, that means there's no need to fill up the rest.)

* the "interpreter and Preparer section" also should be leaving blank because it doesn't apply to u. When u write N/A, they might think the interpreter and preparer doesn't want to name themselves.

About your "Previous Marriage", you can put N/A in the first line and leave the rest blank.

But the " Yes or No questions" you have to mark everything. If a question doesn't apply to you, simply put "NO" don't leave it blank if not they will sent your form back.

Good luck
