US Embassy in Ghana

Hello,

 

Has anyone heard anything about the US Embassy in Ghana regarding processing visas? I read as recently as today that they're processing some visa types but not all. About my situation:

 

I am an American-born citizen currently residing in the USA. My husband is a Ghanaian-born citizen currently residing in Ghana. His visa type is classified as IR1. It's at the National Visa Center and is documentarily qualified. Based on what I know, the US Embassy in Ghana is not currently processing CR1/IR1 visa types. 

 

Again, I'd like to know if anyone has any recent news about the US Embassy in Ghana and processing visas.

Good Morning.. I was recently in Ghana.. and the embassy is open and working
