My husband, a K-3 holder, and I will be traveling to the US Virgin Islands through Puerto Rico in early August (hurray! :) ). Does anyone know if he'll have to go through an immigration checkpoint on this journey? I'm a bit worried that the airline hasn't given us much time between flights on the outgoing journey, though the return has a bit more wiggle room.

Thanks. :)

Both USVI and Puerto Rico are considered the US for immigration purposes I believe, so no need to go through immigration I believe.
