NVC phone line not ringing through

"Email addresses Updated" (No mention of Case or invoice numbers) Your case wasn't ready for a case number or invocie to be generated when you contacted them.

3rd time: I wrote them the same day I received the second response and asked again to send our Case and Invoice numbers and they responded - 

"Here are your case and Invoice numbers - XXXXXXXX and XXXXXXX" And then your case was assigned a CN# and the replied in kind.

 

So apparently they cannot comprehend more than one concept per email lol, you have to break it down to simple baby steps for them. For instance they could not handle the idea of updating our email addresses AND sending our case and invoice numbers in one whole request, it required 2 emails over the coarse of 8 days lol. 

 

Each response took exactly 4 days from time of sending the email to receiving a response (even on the weekend) as the second response was received in the afternoon on sat.

Sometimes things happen for a reason and the process is set up for the same reasons. Since you are not privy to those processes you feel you have been neglected because they didn't do what you wanted done. I have opined this, but I'll do it again.

 

Can I share somethings with you that I learned long ago about this process?

    • "the man with the gold makes the rules"
    • it will take as long as it will take 
    • no one with any certainty can tell you when some process will be completed
    • Your sense of urgency will never be equaled to what USCIS, NVC or your embassy demonstrates
    • Your journey is not going to mirror someone else's experience - yours and theirs are not the same
    • They only promised you a YES or NO answer. Never an exact time that their decision would be completed
    • Lowering your expectations will make you a much more relaxed individual

You read your post yourself, I was first saying that embassy died from covid, than you repeated it saying it would be an idiot if think like that. While i am getting warnings from those socal moderators just for using vocabulary, some are free to call names without any problems

Never called you an idiot. I'm well within the TOS. Anyways this topic is dead to me.
