Ar-11 in-line versus paper

Hello all, hope it’s the right place, AR-11 ( change of address) as per instructions, can’t send the form by mail, in paper if not victim of DV, etc.which is not my case.  Am I correct? As my preference is by mail.

Also is it a must to write last address: it’s confusing a bit, bc it states to fill out all, while the asterisk indicates required, which the last address has not.

Thanks in advance!!

Online only. Keep the confirmation number.

Thanks so much. What about the “last address”? Can I leave it blank, given it’s not required? Reason is had temp residencies after moving from initial stable home.

Wonders why only two sections on the form, current and last address, people may move more than two times.

It's on you to report your change of address within 10 days of moving. That's why it would only have current and last address - if you kept up with your obligation there would only be one to report.

Oh ok ok, got it. Like many I didn’t know I had to report each time. Feel so stupid! Then only two is logic. So if I leave last address blank they’ll understand I forgot to report the changes? If I put initial or first address, ( not those temp in between) that won’t be truthful bc they may  believe I just move from there, which is not true.

Still in a dilemma bc I don’t want to put last address the temp one for confidential reasons. Hm what to do

sorry im maniac of detail but try to understand the logic given all now may count  given all “gifts” immigrants receive on their backs :)

Anyone has an idea what to do regarding the completion/ leaving blank the last address? Personally I would add a list of all addresses and a cover letter explaining my mistake and the list is to repair it and an update.

Although if I’m not mistaken I read somewhere someone didn’t make a fuss of what last address chose to put, with same temporary former addresses.

Maybe im overthinking but I try to avoid a rfe

Thanks for any input !

Ok for those interested, I have found a bit more closure: on nolo and a super atty site, both state there are 3 ways  to change address, online by phone and mail, no limitations - which contradicts USCIS limitation Regarding the mailing option. - also bc it appears some have issues with online applications why I prefer all stuff by mail.

And it also clarifies that everything should be reported even the temp address. So I was incorrect to leave it blank or as mentioned elsewhere put only a stable address.

Not sure if it may help others but wanted to share my little findings

all stay safe and well
