Flying from UK to US with AP

Hi,

I currently live in the US - married to USC, currently waiting for my Green Card interview to be scheduled.

I have Advance Parole and would really like to return to the UK to visit family, but worried about re-entry during all the COVID travel uncertainty.

Has anyone travelled from the UK to US recently with AP? Any problems at the border?

Thanks!

I would imagine you might be told to quarantine for 14 days both when arriving in the UK and when returning to the US. No one can really say what will happen at the US border. I’m currently in Canada on AP trying to ride out the virus. My AP expires in August so I’ll have to go back before then if I don’t want to have to start the process all over again. I have no idea how returning to the US during covid works, as we are in limbo with pending AOS applications. I don’t think we have the same rights as an LPR. I’ve used AP pre covid multiple times without any issue at all so AP in general is fine.
