My friend felt confused about his divorce date. Please help if anyone know about that. Thank you for any reply from all of you first.

My friend filed divorce application in Jan , 2004 at Boston, but on the certificate, there is a date of (April , 2004) 90 days having expired since the entry of teh divorce. And there is 3rd date that register of counrty at Boston. So which date is for his divorce truly? Thank you very much.

The latest of those three dates sounds like the date the final divorce decree was recorded but the Commonwealth of MA has a special terminology and document that signifies the official end of a marriage. It is called "Certificate Of Absolute". I suspect that has the date you're really looking for.

Thank you for your help. There is a paragraph on the certificate. " I further certify taht on Apr, 2004, ninety days haveing expired since the entery of the divorce nisi and the Court not having otherwise orderd, said Judgment of Divorce became absolute." This date means the end of the marriage??

The date the Court officer signed the document is the date the marriage ended. That would be at least 90 days after the "entry" date.
