Travel History on N-400 for Residents of Less than 5 Years

I know that most applicants can't apply for naturalization until 5 years of residency, but if the residency/application is based on marriage, as in our case, it's 3 years.  But on the N-400 form, there's a section where they want you to list all of your travel outside the US for the last 5 years.  I don't really know how to fill that out since my husband's been here for 4 years.  For the year before that I can't really list a "date you left the US" and "date you returned to the US" because he didn't LEAVE the US, he just wasn't living here yet.  Wasn't sure if I should only include travel history for the time he's been a resident in the US, or if I somehow need to figure out how to note his time outside of the US for that first year.

Just write as it pertains to you. We wrote all 4 years of his travel (we applied approx his 4 yr mark as well)

Packet 3 Received : 10/27/14 packet received by petitioner in USA ( beneficiary never received packet 3)

Medical: 10/30/14 Dr. Buteau                  Medical picked up: 11/3/14

Packet 3 Sent : 11/10/13.. Had to schedule interview appointment and attach confirmation receipt to packet

Interview Date : 12/1/14                           Interview Result : Approved !

Visa Received : 12/10/14 picked up at Jacmel location

US Entry : 12/15/14 Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Apply for Social Security Card: 12/30/14 Connecticut

Marriage: 1/26/15
