Hi guys, the instruction for N400 requires I send evidence of child support for my child who lives abroad. I contacted the government agency responsible for collecting it, and the mailed me my account statement showing payment transactions. However it doesnt have a signature on it, just a cover letter from the agency and the what appears to be a regular computer printout of transactions for a date range.   So my question is should I ask them to put a name and signature on it? or will this be an acceptable proof.

For mine, I sent a copy of my husband's paystub that had child support labelled as "miscellaneous deductions". I had no problem with that. YMMV.

Thanks for the response. How many months of garnished paystub did you send? Just curious cos I was behind for some months but I was able to catch up recently.

I think I sent two to three. I also circled it and wrote "child support as per attached custody agreement" so they could see that the amount was what was in the divorce papers if they wanted to check.
