E-3 visa, until what date am I authorized to work?

I entered the US a few days ago on my E-3 visa which expires on 03/20/2020. The border officer gave me a admit until date of 03/14/2022 on my I-94.

The LCA which my current visa is tied to is for an employment period of 05/01/2018 to 04/30/2020.

I was going to renew my visa at a consulate overseas but COVID-19 has removed that option, I will likely be filing a I-129 with the USCIS now. My employer has already got another LCA approved for me.

So what date am I authorized to work until? The end of the current LCA? The end of the new LCA? Up until the admit until date on the I-94?

I can't find a straight answer anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

In case anyone finds this, I have asked the question of several lawyers and they have told me the same thing - you can work until the date shown on the I-94 but ensure that your employer has a valid LCA for the period that you are working.

So I am going to continue working and when COVID-19 settles down I will travel abroad to a consulate to get a new visa.
