Just wondering if anyone has had their interviews (N400) - NOT OATH CEREMONY - but citizenship interviews canceled? I know there was a situation in Seattle with that office closing, just curious if anyone has run into this elsewhere?

Interviews should be fine. They would only be cancelled if the entire office is closed. That's only happened once recently - Seattle (closed for one week but then reopened).

Good to monitor this page (it's updated daily):

If the office is open, the interviews will happen.

Just received a call from the USCIS Field Office here in San Diego. Interviews scheduled on Monday, March 16, 2020 are cancelled. They will be sending us mail notices starting Monday and new interview appointment letters at a later time.

Wow, thanks for the info. Did they say that the office would be closed on that day?

I don't remember if she said it would be closed but she informed me they will be sending out the notices on Monday. Maybe that's why they are proactively calling people about their appointments because the letter would arrive later next week. I'm guessing their employees are still going to work but no appointments/interviews would be conducted starting Monday.

Okay, make sense, I'm sure it won't be the last example of interview cancellations.

We'll get there eventually. For now, let's all stay safe and healthy.
