Hi all,

I have a question about DL too. So I (beneficiary) have the drivers license from NY state, where I used to work when I was on my OPT visa after college. Now, after we got approved, I'm wondering if I'll have to go through the whole process of getting the DL or I can just go and exchange my old one. I still have it with me but it is expired. Also since my case is a bit different than any other, will I also have to wait for EAD, GC or something else or I'll be able to exchange it right away.

I do understand that it varies from state to state, but just wondering if there's anyone who had experience in this case. And also, I'm asking for Ohio in particular.

Thank you
