Delay sending passport

I was under AP and asked to send my passport a few days ago by the Montreal consulate. However I could not send it since I was traveling the day after. I will return to Canada after about 15 days. Will it be a problem if I send my passport 2 weeks after they were requested for ?

It should not be a problem.

Just remember when you do send it back it can take an additional 6 - 8 weeks before you get it back. So don't make any plans just yet as Montreal does tend to be slow.
