221 g processing time

Hey everyone, 

 

I recently went for my k-1 interview at the MTL embassy it went well but I didn’t have the correct police report needed so the immigration officer gave me the refusal worksheet (221g form) and told me to send the correct police report from the rcmp along with my passport and I’d be fine.

 

I sent the required documents and the embassy received it about a 1 week and half ago yet it is still showing on the https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv website as ‘send documents’. I understand it takes time but how long is the wait time generally ? And I’m I correct for using that website to track the progress or is there another website I am suppose to use?

Check this website ceac.state.gov and i did my interview 3 weeks ago and mine is still saying send documents as well

Thanks, I didn’t even know to check that site. Interestingly enough it says it’s on AP on that site but on the https://ais.usvisa-info.com site it still says ‘send documents’

Send an email to your embassy and asked them to confirm receiving the documents

I know they received it because I checked via Canada post tracking.
