Medicaid and K1 Adjustment of Status
I am the U.S. citizen spouse and currently me and our biological son (also U.S. citizen) have medicaid. I am expecting our second child in December, so I do not want to lose my medicaid coverage at LEAST until I give birth, preferably later because newborns have so many doctors appointments and vaccinations, etc.

My foreign spouse will obviously NOT apply for Medicaid, however Medicaid requires me to report my marriage for household size calculations. I'm not sure if Medicaid would consider him a dependent for household size purposes?

Anyway, is this allowed? Would I have to give up my Medicaid before his AOS interview or at any point? HELP! thanks!

Please don’t give up your Medicaid!  You and your children are still eligible for it.
