Help with Birth Certificate requirements at the Adjustment of status interview !!!!

I came to the US on a K-1 visa. After marrying and applying for adjustment of status I received a RFE because I didn’t include my birth certificate ( my birth was never registered) . In the RFE they asked me to submit a letter from the Indian government stating that the record did not exist ( as my birth was never registered). I replied to the RFE with the letter that my birth certificate was not available ( despite being born in 71, one year after registering births became legal in India) and all other possible proofs of birthdate possible. A month later I received a notice for my adjustment of status interview . The standardized letter states to bring a birth certificate to the interview. Will it be a problem if I don’t have my birth certificate at the interview or can i tell that the secondary evidence is enough by the fact I received notice of the interview? No notice that they accepted the evidence was sent. I am trying hard but most likely unable to obtain an original birth certificate from India in the 30 days until my interview. Any advice would be appreciated!

Everyone gets the exact same checklist on the interview notice. To be safe I recommend to take a copy of the documents you sent in with the RFE response.
