Space for mailing address versus physical address

 For the I 485 and I 130 a form in the address history if I have a different address for physical address and mailing address where should I indicate the mailing address? And should the format be dates lived in that address and then listing the full address with the ZIP Code afterwards?

You may be overthinking the forms/questions. Answer them/fill them in literally. If you need more space is needed follow the instructions as stated in the I-485/I-130 instructions:

Additional Information or attach a separate sheet of paper; type or print your name and Alien Registration Number (A-Number) (if any) at the top of each sheet; indicate the Page Number, Part Number, and Item Number to which your answer refers; and sign and date each sheet.
