How accurate is the USTRAVELDOCS status checker when you log in?ย

Long story short, we went to our interview, got an AP / 221G notice with a short list of documents we needed to submit to continue our case. Submitted all them to CEAC and physically to one of the official drop off locations, a few weeks ago. We got an email from USTRAVELDOCS stating that my spouse passport was ready to be picked up from the location I selected when registering for his visa.ย

My hubby never gave anyone his passport since it wasnโ€™t checked on the list nor did they ask for it. So what is there for him to pick up? Confused!
