question regarding a criminal record

I was arrested in 1974 for illegal discharge.....( I was hunting ducks on a levee)   I know I got probation and paid a lawyer to have it expunged.  I had the police department send me a certified letter of the arrest and then went to the court of criminal records to obtain certified copies of of the charges and disposition of the arrest, however when they did a background check on me from age 18 to present they could not find any criminal record of me, so they gave me a certified letter stating I have no criminal records,  my question is this,  will uscis find these certified letters enough info for them or will they request more?     the court told me the only way they could check if it was expunged is if I had a case number, but I don't even remember the lawyers name after 45 years.      thanks, joe smith
