Nonimmigrant Status on EAD application?

What is the nonimmigrant status if we entered legally and waiting for the decision on our work extension status to come through? Decision on I129 still pending after getting married and preparing AOS papers.

On what visa type or basis were you granted entry?  Do you know what your I94 says?

I 94 expired already but I filed for an extension on my existing status before the I94 expired.  They still haven't make a decision on my nonimmigrant work status yet and I'll be filing my AOS before I get a decision so on the EAD application not sure what to write since my I94 already expired but my work status app is pending with USCIS.
