Mis-spelled last name of my fiancee' on NVC Letter

Hello everyone,

The "Consular Section" at the U.S. Embassy Moscow has my fiancée's last name mis-spelled (1 letter is missing).  Will this cause any issues, when she goes to pay the fee and we attempt to schedule her interview?  I am guessing that this person just made a simple "typo", but I want to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue (and, of course to know if this could cause any problems and/or delays)?

Thanks,

Greg

My now husband’s first name was misspelled on the nvc letter. It wasn’t an issue. He emailed the consulate to let them know. They said they would update as necessary.
