My interview was this morning for k1 visa medical. I was there about 15 minutes early but they won’t see you until dead on your appointment time. So you are asked To sit in the waiting room. Then when it got to my appointment time I went to the desk and handed over my paperwork  and then was given forms to fill out and a pot to pee in. Then came more waiting. After like half an hour I was called in to see the doctor to talk about my vaccinations which a couple had expired on but she told me it was fine and I could either pay the £90 now or go home and get them for free on the NHS which is what I decided. Then I was sent back to the waiting room for like another half an hour and then another doctor called me in and she did my height  weight checked my ears eyes and mouth I then had to lay on a bed and she checked my stomach and my legs and feet and then came the blood test. She was asking some stuff about my relationship but I think that was just friendly conversation. After that I went back to the waiting room waiting for what seemed like forever. It must’ve been almost an hour. Then I got called in by another doctor for the chest x-ray. He told me to take off my top and bra and I had to wear a hospital gown and then I had my chest x-ray. He said that was fine and I could  get dressed again and then came more waiting in the waiting room...After like 10 minutes they called me up to the front desk and they said that everything was done and I had to pay the fee. So overall I was there about three hours which is way longer than 90 minutes they state you’ll be there. It was really busy and the staff kept mentioning how rushed off their feet they were.

Once again Knightsbridge has given wrong information.

Yes you can go get your vaccinations on the NHS. You can even get them at Boots or another pharmacy of your choosing, but if you do not get your shots BEFORE or DURING your Knightsbridge visit, you are not be complete enough to receive a pass during your adjustment of status process. Get your shots, but then after you marry and you go to apply for adjustment of status, you're going to need to find a US Civil Surgeon that can recertify any and all vaccinations you have received, for a price that is generally very expensive, and that's if you can find one that will do it without demanding another full medical. Please make sure you keep and take with you all records and receipts of vaccinations you receive, you're going to need it.
