Why when I entered my current Physical Address using laptop the country(foreign address only)automatic says USA? I tried to delete USA but it wont delete.In my own understanding Country(foreign address only)I thought its supposed to type Philippines... Get confused the automatic USA country after entered the physical address

Are you trying to apply for the N400 using the e-online application?

 

Are you currently living in the Philippines or the USA?

 

If you are filing the N400 from overseas, you are not eligible to use the online application----you must print out and mail a paper application instead.

 

If you are physically living in the US, you would be using a US address not one in the Philippines.  Where are you living currently?

I am currently in USA..that's why I was confused the country that said foreign address only(Foreign Address,means Philippines)But it was automatic said USA using laptop after I put my current physical address.I am in USA right now....Do I ignore the word foreign address only?because when I tried to delete USA it wont delete after it was automatic

That area of the application (Province/Postal Code/Country) is for ONLY if you are CURRENTLY living outside of the US.

 

Fill in the top portion with the address of where you are living now.  Leave the Province/Postal Code areas blank.

Since you are living in the USA, it is fine for the country to say USA and will properly automatically fill that part in.

 

If you have lived in the Philippines at any time during the previous 3/5 years (not vacationed while a LPR---but actually resided there while being a LPR),  then you would put in the Philippines address under the previous address part.
