My wife's parents just got their interview date for June 27 in HCMC Vietnam. For the courier service to get the Visa delivered after the interview, does anyone know where to go to fill this info out or do we not need to worry?

I went to USTravelDocs website but not sure if this is the correct place to go... http://www.ustraveldocs.com/vn/vn-iv-addressregistration.asp

Hi there,

Yes. This is correct site for you to go to register your wife's parent delivery address.

Please provide your wife's parent's timeline.

That's the right address, register there. However, that doesn't seem to do anything really. You will provide your address to EMS (the courier service that delivers the passport+visa after they physically put the visa in). There is an EMS table in there, and they will remind you to register your address after you pass the interview and if you want to do an "expedite". Again, I'm not sure an "expedite" actually gets your the stuff that much faster, as the bulk of the wait after the interview will be for the Consulate to physically issue the visa and print it and affix it to the passport. But since it's only like 200VND, most people get it.

Thank you.

I believe we started in January to get the papers ready but had a couple hickups along the way which delayed it up to one month. Their interview was at the end of May but could have been in April if I paid more attention to the documents I failed to send initially.

If they live in Vietnam, you HAVE TO get a police report for each person you are sponsoring (unless they are a child).

My wife's parents will be here middle of September.
