AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT & FINANCIAL EVIDENCE is locked/unavailable

Hi guys,

our CR1 case had been expedited for medical reasons. I had my visa interview at the US embassy in Malaysia on Apr 9. At the end of the interview, the CO told me that he would expedite the wavier for us because of the travel ban for my nationality and gave me a 221(g) letter asking me to upload the police clearance certificate, the I-864 form and taxes of the joint sponsor to CEAC website. The problem is that when I log in to the CEAC website,  the AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT & FINANCIAL EVIDENCE Section is locked/unavailable and I cannot upload the affidavit of support i-864 and taxes documents. I could only see the civil document section available.

Has anyone faced this problem before?

I would really appreciate it if anyone could advise me on what to do so that I can upload the affidavit of support i-864 and taxes documents.

  • Give them a call or several calls as only they can unlock the section for you.

I tried sending emails regarding this, but their reply was "Thank you for providing the information. We will contact you once the administrative processing is completed".

The petitioner can call the NVC and explain what the consulate said.  I think US Department of State manages the website.
