potomac processing

hi everyone and fellow june 2018 filers.

i received a letter saying they will reuse my fingerprints for r.o.c. Then i got another letter saying that they had transferred my case to potomac ( march 15th) It says current processing times for the 751 at that centre is 15.5 months to 21 months. My question is as it seems they have only just started  processing i-751 how do they seem to have such a processing time already? they said in my letter that a premlimary  check had been completed and that potomac will finish the processing ... Could this mean possibly by sept (which is 15 months ) that i will hear something or is that wishful thinking. If sept is realistic i plan to wait before filing for citizenship? Hope to hear some feedback especially from june 2019 filers.

A lot of recent filers and some filers from 2018 have been transferred to Potomac. For instance, our case was filed May 2018 and we just received a similar notice to yours. I cannot say how fast the processing will be. Obviously 2018 filers have been waiting well over a year. That's generally the rule of thumb, but I suppose you could get lucky.
