Need help for DR consulate

I guess since I'm posting from cellphone the 'start a new topic' button in the DR portal is not available/visible. So please move this post to the DR portal.

 

With that said, I need help scheduling appt.

 

I know you need two appts: VAC and Consulate. 

 

After paying fee online with my debit card, the calendar opened up...my Q is: that calendar is for the VAC or the consulate appt? That drop down menu only shows that option: StoDgoVAC

Hello,

You have to choose VAC first then you will get the consulate.

Ok...no matter what date I choose, it takes me to the next page to schedule consular appt and says there are no consular appts available...last date I chose, then it said I'm approaching maximum number of times I can access page...I got scared and logged out.

 

What does it mean?

log out then login again.

Do I have to wait for NVC to provide case # or case to say "ready" in order to scheduled these appts? there are plenty of time slots available for VAC appt.  however, when I click on any slot for the VAC appt, it takes me to the next page where it says no appts available.  April calendar just became visible today and unless thousands of people didn't sleep to get appts...I don't know what i'm doing wrong.
