Received notice OCT 1st 2018

Current status on CEAC to check the status of an Immigration visa is showing "At NVC." We received the documents on October 1st stating that all of the documents were received on their end and all we are waiting for is the interview. I have called the Department of State and they say that all we can do is wait. Priority date July 25, 2015. Going on almost 5 years and still have nothing. Is there a longer waiting period these days? Has anyone else experienced this long of a wait? Everything I look is says we could get an appointment 90 days after the approval notice.

The I-130 was approved and says "On December 16, 2015, we sent your case, Receipt Number , to the Department of State for visa processing. You can find general information on Consular Processing by visiting our website at www.uscis.gov . The website will provide information on what to do next, who to contact, and how to inform us of any changes in your situation or address"

 

The I-601A waiver was approved on June 12, 2018 and says "On June 12, 2018, we approved your Form I-601A, Application for Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver, Receipt Number We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."
