Hi all, on 01/22 I requested an expedite for my EAD. The next day I got an email stating "USCIS has received your request for expedited processing and it is under review. If you do not receive a response within 30 days of this notice, please contact the USCIS Contact Center at the phone number below. At this time, no further action is required from you."

I realized the uscis officer had actually put this on my i485 so called back on 01/23 and requested the EAD to be expedited. On 01/28 I received an email saying "We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly."

I called uscis today to ask for the fax number from a tier 2 so that I could provide the proof and get the EAD issued so I could start working. The lady states that someone was already looking at my case before I requested an expedite so it sounded like the expedite was a moot point since it was already being looked at. She said wait a week or two and see what happens.  Anyone had any experience with the same thing? What happened?
