Has anyone from the Miami Field Office been affected by the death of the 41st President about their naturalization ceremony? Mine was supposed to take place on December 7 2018, but got a call from USCIS the day before that it has been rescheduled for a later date. Please let me know. Thank you.

Hi have you had your ceremony? I know someone who was affected from Boston and he had his ceremony just last week.

Consulate Received : 10/6/14 CEAC status changed to ready

Packet 3 Received : 10/27/14 packet received by petitioner in USA ( beneficiary never received packet 3)

Packet 3 Sent : 11/10/13.. Had to schedule interview appointment and attach confirmation receipt to packet

I had mine originally scheduled on 05-Dec-2018 but later got postponed (via phone first and later came to know the new date by mail) to 16-Jan-2019. Everything went smooth. Became a Naturalized Citizen on the 16th Jan. Applied for US Passport on 18-Jan-2019
