Hello everyone,

I lost my green card a week ago. I was waiting to see if anyone found it and turned it in, but it seems it won't be happening. I have accepted I will have to pay for the fees ($540) and will need to wait 5 months or so for a new one, which means I can't leave the country in the meantime. I have already reported it as lost to the police.

Now my question is, there is a possibility of filing online or by mail. Which one should I pick? Is there any difference between the two? Any one of them a bit faster or more reliable than the other?

Any help appreciated,

Thanks!
